BENCH WARRANT - POTSDAM - Village police picked up Jeremiah D. Deshane, 29, of Potsdam on a bench warrant at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Potsdam Police Department. The warrant was issued on Oct. 15 for failure to pay fine. He was arraigned by Potsdam Village Justice Nicolas Pignone and released with payment plan.
PERSONAL INJURY ACCIDENT - POTSDAM - Village police said one person was injured in a two-vehicle collision at 12:05 p.m. Thursday in Maple Street. Police said Jeffrey R. Sciera, 22 of Dewitt was ticketed for following too closely after striking the back of a vehicle being operated by Donna Martell of Massena. Scieras vehicle was towed from the scene by Martin Service Station. A passenger in Martells vehicle later. sought treatment for head pain.
PERSONAL INJURY ACCIDENT - POTSDAM - Viillage police responded to a two vehicle motor vehicle accident at 4:58 p.m. Thursday on Market Street at Sandstone. Police said Jennifer J. Meyers, 22, of Schenectady was ticketed for failing to yield the right of way after she turned left across two lanes of stopped traffic into the path of a vehicle being operated by Marah S. Butterfield of Potsdam. passenger in Meyers vehicle went to the CPH ER for treatment.
