Watertown police arrested an Antwerp man Monday night in connection with an assault and knife incident late Thursday on Arsenal Street.

Jesse G. Culbertson, 21, of 103 Washington St., faces prosecution in City Court on charges of third-degree assault, second-degree menacing and fourth-degree criminal mischief.

Mr. Culbertson is accused of punching Eric J. McGuire, 21, Three Mile Bay, in the face three times while they were in the 1000 block of Arsenal Street, and of brandishing a knife, which he allegedly used to cut two bungee cords belonging to Mr. McGuire.
