A motorists failure to signal a turn at a Watertown intersection early Saturday landed him in jail because he is wanted in Texas, according to Watertown police.
Isaiah R. Holt, 23, of 9911 Route 26, Apt. 2, Lowville, was being held without bail in the Metro-Jefferson Public Safety Building after being charged with being a fugitive from justice. He awaits extradition proceedings in Jefferson County Court.
Police said he is wanted in Houston on a domestic-assault charge.
A patrol officer learned of the charge in a computer check after pulling the vehicle over shortly after 2 a.m. Saturday at LeRay and West Lynde streets, police said.
