MASSENA — Donna M. Smoke, 49, and son Tony R. Thomas, 27, both of 149 Helena Road, Hogansburg, were arrested by village police Sunday and charged with grand larceny.

The pair allegedly stole $1,400 worth of electronics, groceries and other merchandise from Walmart,43 Stephenville St. Store employees witnessed the theft and gave police a description of the suspects’ vehicle, including a license plate number, police said.

They were arrested a short time later and are scheduled to appear in Massena Village Court.
