PORT LEYDEN — Daniel S. Rounds, 29, of 7178 Murphy Road, was arrested Thursday by state police on charges of first-degree sexual abuse and endangering the welfare of a child.

Police alleged that during September 2008, Mr. Rounds subjected a girl under age 11 to sexual contact at a residence on Church Street. He was being held Monday in Lewis County jail, Lowville, with bail set at $5,000 in Lowville Village Court.
