LOWVILLE A Homesteading Fair will return for a second year next fall.
Cornell Cooperative Extensions of Lewis and Jefferson counties have already begun planning for the 2013 event, to be held Sept. 6 and 7, according to a released statement.
In spite of rainy weather and the threat of tornadoes, more than 700 people attended the first-time event held at Maple Ridge Center, including visitors from Long Island, Massachusetts and Connecticut, the release stated.
The event was held in conjunction with National Homesteading Month and the Mother Earth News.
