LISBON A garage owned by Brenda Hargrave at 9626 Route 37 in the town of Lisbon was lost to fire Friday morning.
Volunteers from the Lisbon Fire Department answered the 3:26 a.m. alarm, returning to their station at 4:41 a.m.
Mutual aid was provided by firefighters from Heuvelton and Waddington. The departments of Morley and Rensselaer Falls were on standby.
A cause for the blaze was undetermined. The garage, which was insured, was a total loss.
Officials reported one person was injured in the blaze. The Lisbon Rescue Squad also responded to the scene.
