BRASHER FALLS — A Brasher Falls man was charged with rape of a girl under the age of 15.

Kyle E. Simon, 18, of 266 Driscoll Road, was charged by state police Thursday with second-degree rape, unlawful possession of marijuana, and endangering the welfare of a child.

The case is being investigated by the Bureau of Criminal Investigation. Detectives were unavailable for further comment.

Mr. Simon was arraigned in Brasher Town Court and released under the supervision of the St. Lawrence County Probation Department.
