Holiday concerts are just around the corner at Jefferson Community College.
The Jefferson Singers college choir, directed by Dennis R. Pucci, and the JCC Jazz Rock Ensemble, under the baton of Steven B. Lester, will perform a medley of seasonal selections at 7 p.m. Tuesday in the Robert R. and Jean S. Sturtz Theater. Admission is free. TheJCC Orchestra and Wind Ensemble, conducted by Daniel L. Mosher, will showcase their musical talents at 7:30 p.m. Dec. 12 at the theater.
The Jefferson Singers, JCC jazz rock ensemble and the orchestra and wind ensembles are credit-bearing humanities courses open to anyone. Community members not seeking college credit may audit the course for one-third of the cost of tuition and individuals over 60 years old may qualify for a tuition waiver to join the ensemble free.
