ADAMS — Jacob Worden led the South Jefferson boys basketball team with 25 points, 13 rebounds and three blocked shots at it defeated Indian River, 45-38, in Frontier League crossover play on Monday night.

Tom Bassett added seven points and seven assists for the Spartans (2-0 overall league, 1-0). Jordan Schloop also had seven points.

Shelton Williams paced the Warriors (0-1) with 16 points.
