Donna (Sackett) Brothers Dihrberg, 66, born in Potsdam and residing in Brooksville, FL for the last 25 years passed away peacefully Friday, November 16, 2012 at Brooksville Regional Hospital in Brooksville Florida with her family by her side.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, December 1st at 11:00 am in the Crary Mills Presbyterian Church with Pastor Michael Beoham officiating. Donna was born September 25, 1946, in Potsdam, NY a daughter of Elmer and Nodyne (Lamb) Sackett. She attended Potsdam Central School. Donna participated on the family farm operated by her father and uncle. She married Rudolph Brothers on August 28, 1965 lasting 21 years. She nurtured and raised four children. After the children reached school age; Donna utilized her cooking talents at McCarthy’s Restaurant. Later she also cooked at the Canton Bakery. Caring for others came naturally for Donna therefore she entered home health services and dabbled in wood crafts. On August 19, 1989 Donna married William Dihrberg. They moved to Fort Lauderdale, FL in 1991 and then to Brooksville, FL in 1998. She cared for her grandchildren and worked at Wal-Mart.

Donna thoroughly enjoyed time with family, and friends. She also found time for crafts, crocheting, and knitting through-out her life.

Survived by her husband, Bill, Brooksville, FL; her children Robin Palm (Roger) of Parishville, Rudolph Jr. Brothers (Martha) of South Colton, Robert Brothers ( Martha ) of Canton, Rick Brothers ( Adra) of Winthrop; Step-children Pam Sperling (Mark) of Saranac Lake, Will Dihrberg (Eva) of Rensselaer, Chris Dihrberg (Elizabeth) of Canton, and Cory Dihrberg (Rhonda) of Canton; three sisters, Linda Sackett of Canton, Kathy Regan of Lisbon, and Karen Bush (Wendell) of Lisbon; and four brothers Rick Sackett (Linda) of Potsdam, Kevin Robidoux (Laura) of Valrico, FL, Joe Robidoux (Barb) of Largo, FL, and Keith Robidoux; 20 grandchildren, four great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Crary Mills Presbyterian Church at 159 Cty Rt 35 Canton, NY 13617.
