PETIT LARCENY - MASSENA - Village police charged Candy Locey, 21, of 51 Grove St., Massena, with petit larceny at 4:20 p.m. Tuesday after she allegedly shoplifted $116.10 worth of merchandise from Walmart.
BENCH WARRANT - MASSENA - Village police picked up Terry L. McGregor, Jr., 24, of 56 Sycamore St., Massena, on a bench warrant at 1:14 p.m. Monday . The warrant had been signed Oct. 18 by Massena Village Justice Eric J. Gustafson after McGregor failed to appear in village court as directed on a sixth-degree conspiracy charge stemming from a March 2011 incident. He was arraigned on the warrant by Mr. Gustafson and released to reappear Dec. 11in Massena Village Court.
NO HEADLIGHT - MASSENA - Village police ticketed Jeffrey A. Provost, 49, of Newton Falls for operation of a vehicle with inadequate headlights at 4:50 p.m. Monday following a traffic stop on East Hatfield Street.
INADEQUATE BRAKE LIGHTS - MASSENA - Village police ticketed D.A. Van Brocklin, 46, of Pollock Road, Canton, for operation of a vehicle with inadequate brake lights at 10:30 a.m. Monday following a traffic stop on Main Street.
