MORRISVILLE — Katy Briedis paced the SUNY Potsdam women’s basketball team with 13 points as it gained its first win of the year with 61-34 victory over SUNY Morrisville in a nonconference game Sunday.

Bailey Weigel and Jessica Kouzan each chipped in with 12 points for the Bears (1-3). Kouzan and Chenice Russell each grabbed seven rebounds.

Nijee Scott led the Mustangs (0-4) with 10 points.
