A Watertown man being arrested Friday night on a bench warrant in the business block at 1290 Arsenal Street was found possessing two prescription pills and marijuana in his pockets, according to Watertown police.
Jaun C. Benedict, 26, of 1014 State St., was charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and unlawful possession of marijuana. He was turned over to the Lewis County Sheriffs Department, which held the bench warrant on an unspecified charge.
Police said he possessed two Suboxone pills, which are used for the treatment of opioid dependence.
