Leland G. Arnold, 48, of 206 Franklin St., Apt. 208, was arrested Friday evening by Watertown police on charges of felony criminal mischief and disorderly conduct following a disturbance on West Main Street.
Patrols were sent at 5:57 p.m. to 377 W. Main St. on a fight complaint. Officers reported that they found Mr. Arnold attempting to fight with another man on the front porch of the residence. They subsequently were shown a chip in the windshield of a 1995 Chevrolet owned by Charles L. Pickett, 371 W. Main St., and were told the damage was caused by Mr. Arnold hitting the glass, police said.
Mr. Arnold was sentenced to five years probation in December 2007 in Lewis County Court for felony criminal mischief.
