■ LOWVILLE — Cornell Cooperative Extension of Lewis County will hold its annual meeting Tuesday in the conference room at the Extension office on outer Stowe Street. It will begin at 6 p.m. with an informational display and silent auction, followed by dinner and the meeting.

■ LOWVILLE — A driver-safety course for people 50 and older will be held from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Thursday at Cornell Cooperative Extension of Lewis County, outer Stowe Street. The cost is $17 for AARP members and $19 for others. Preregistration is requested by Nov. 28 at 376-5270.
