Freshman guard Ryan Tomlin of the Jefferson Community College men’s basketball team was named JCC athlete of the week for the week ending Nov. 18.

A 2012 graduate of Bayside High School, Springfield Gardens, Tomlin averaged 13.5 points and 4.5 rebounds per game, including 12 points and nine rebounds against fourth-ranked Fulton Montgomery CC. He was also named to the County College of Morris All-Tournament team.
