WATSON A town of Watson man was charged with driving while intoxicated after being involved in a one-car rollover crash at 9:52 p.m. Tuesday on Snell Road in the town of Watson.
Lewis County sheriffs deputies said Jared G. Lehman, 28, of 6947 Erie Canal Road, was driving south when he lost control around a curve and went off the left side of the road, causing the vehicle to roll onto the drivers side.
Mr. Lehman and a passenger, Lucas J. Boliver, were treated for cuts and bruises by Lewis County Search and Rescue personnel but declined transport to the hospital.
He had a BAC of 0.10 percent, deputies said. State law says a BAC of 0.08 percent or higher constitutes intoxication.
Mr. Lehman was additionally charged with failure to keep right, speed not reasonable or prudent, no seat belt and unsafe tire.
State police and Lowville firefighters assisted at the scene.
