The Perfect Game Collegiate Baseball has added two more teams, the Utica Brewers and Adirondack Trail Blazers, for the 2013 season.
Both teams move to the PGCBL, which includes the Watertown Wizards, from the New York Collegiate Baseball League.
The Brewers play at a former New York-Penn League ballpark, Donovan Stadium at Murnane Field in Utica, and led the NYCBL in attendance last season.
The Trail Blazers, who finished second to Utica in attendance, play at the renovated Robert Smith Sports Complex in Boonville.
The addition of these two franchises is just another step for the PGCBL to solidify itself as a premier league nationwide, Wizards co-owner and general manager Todd Kirkey said. Adirondack gives us the possibility of a geographical rival and Utica has long been a facility and location that the league has targeted.Watertown wishes to welcome both of these franchises to our PGCBL family.
