RANDOLPH, N.J. — Nana Ansah connected for 20 points, including five 3-pointers, to help lead the County College of Morris men’s basketball team to a first round victory over Jefferson Community College, 81-68, in its 31st annual Turkey Hoopshoot Tournament on Friday.

Vincent Simpson added 18 points for Morris in its season-opener.

Derrick Williams supplied a game-high 26 points for Jefferson (3-3 overall). Ryan Tomlin scored 19 points, and Kenneth Thomas added 10 points for JCC, which will play Gloucester County College in the consolation game at noon today.
