Thomas A. Hubbard, 18, of 722 W. Main St., Apt. 2, was arrested early Friday morning by city police on allegations that he possessed a 12-pack of beer that was shoplifted by a child.

He faces charges of endangering the welfare of a child and fifth-degree criminal possession of stolen property.

His 14-year-old companion was cited with petit larceny. The boy awaits action with the probation department and in Family Court.

Police made the arrests just after midnight following the $12.99-value theft at Nice N Easy, 430 Factory St.
