WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. The Williamsport Outlaws scored three second-period goals as they defeated the Thousand Islands Privateers, 3-1, in a Federal Hockey League game Wednesday night at Bowman Field.
Jamie Zaleski, Chris Leveille and Martin Moucha scored for Williamsport (2-5) after falling behind 1-0 in the period. Nathan Oke collected a pair of asssists. Chris Whitley made 29 saves on 30 shots.
Chris Greene netted a goal one minute, 10 seconds into the second period for Thousand Islands (4-2). Matt Anthony turned aside 37 shots.
The Privateers host the Dayton Demons for a pair of games at the Watertown Fairgrounds Arena. Gametime both nights is at 7:35 p.m.
■ The charity exhibition game against the Fort Drum Mountaineers scheduled for Sunday night has been postponed. The game will be played at a date yet to be determined.
