WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. The Thousand Islands Privateers made the first road game of their campaign a succcessful one.
Brent Tamane had a hand in all three goals by scoring once and registering two assists, as the Privateers edged the Williamsport Outlaws 3-2 on Thursday in the Federal Hockey League.
Peter Campbell contributed a goal and an assist and Corey Bellamy scored the other goal for Thousand Islands (3-0). Goalie Matt Anthony made 28 saves and Jordan Bernier chipped in with two assists for the first-place Privateers.
Chris Whitley finished with 28 saves for the last-place Outlaws (0-5), who play outdoors at Bowman Field, the citys minor-league baseball stadium.
