Dohmentum: NY21 now 'leans' Dem, instead of 'likely'

The Cook Political Report, which had said that the north country's congressional seat was "likely" to go to Democratic Rep. Bill Owens, has been downgraded to merely "lean" toward Mr. Owens.

The change comes a day after a Siena College Research Institute poll showed Republican Matt Doheny trailing by only one point in the 21st Congressional District race, 44-43, among 400 likely voters.
