When Pete's Restaurant changed owners and became Pete's Trattoria, many longtime customers — a distillate of local elected officials and out-of-town political hacks who would stop by the bar or restaurant — engaged in anxious hand-wringing.
Would the quality of the food suffer? Would they still serve burgers, Mayor Jeff Graham wondered?
