Craig Conroy's big weekend began today as he toured Cheel Arena with dignitaries like Dave Taylor and his father Mike.
Conroy, a Potsdam native, is being inducted into Clarkson's Athletic Hall of Fame tomorrow afternoon and before tomorrow night's game against Holy Cross he will have his No. 7 jersey officially retired and hung in the rafters of Cheel Arena.
Conroy played at Clarkson from 1990-94 and scored 63 goals with 104 assists in 140 career games. He played over 1,000 games in the National Hockey League and was a member of the Montreal Canadiens, St. Louis Blues, Los Angeles Kings and Calgary Flames. Conroy now works for the Flames organization.
