Brianne Arthur scored the game’s lone goal in the 57th minute to lift second-seeded Watertown past No. 3 Carthage 1-0 on Wednesday in a Frontier League “A’’ Division girls soccer semifinal at Watertown.

Goalkeeper Katie Aldrich made three saves for the Cylcones (9-3-3), who will face No. 2 Indian River in the final at 6 p.m. on Friday at WHS.

Morgan Cadwell took a pass from Darcy Dyer and sent a feed from the middle to Arthur, who moved past a defender and scored into the left corner of the net for the deciding goal.

Haley Ryan finished with eight saves for the Comets (7-6-2).

INDIAN RIVER 2, IHC 0

Sidney Black scored her second goal of the season, and Emily Kuba connected on a penalty kick two minutes later to help the second-seeded Warriors beat the third-seeded Cavaliers in an “A” Division semifinal at Philadelphia.

Lakeisha Barnes made five saves to record her eighth shutout of the year for Indian River (10-4-1). Erin Hesse assisted on Black’s goal.

Skylar Short registered five saves for Immaculate Heart (8-7).

SANDY CREEK 2, BEAVER RIVER 1

Chelsea Claflin scored the game-winning goal in the 19th minute and supplied an assist as the Comets secured a share of the “C” Division championship at Sandy Creek.

Goalie McKenna Guarasce made 12 saves for Sandy Creek (11-2-3, 9-2-3).

Hannah Horth opened the scoring with a goal in the second minute for the Comets.

Gen Fidler finished with 12 saves for the Beavers (4-9-3, 3-8-3).

THOUSAND ISLANDS 1, A-P-W 0

Morgan Robbins scored unassisted in 65th minute as the Vikings edged the Rebels in a crossover game.

Goalie Aliceson Cornaire made seven saves for Thousand Islands (11-2-3), which already clinched a share of the “C” Division crown.

Erin Stever made 12 saves for A-P-W (1-10, 1-13).

SOUTH JEFFERSON 2, SOUTH LEWIS 0

Goalkeeper Jackie Decker made 11 saves as the Spartans shut out the Falcons in a crossover game in Turin.

Courtney Cavellier and Morgan Alexander scored goals in the second half for South Jefferson (13-3, 9-3).

Miranda Rys made 15 saves for South Lewis (7-7-1, 6-6-1).

LOWVILLE 4, GENERAL BROWN 0

Kelsey Sammon scored the first goal of the game in the 30th minute and added an assist as the Red Raiders blanked the Lions in a crossover game in Dexter.

Alexa Yousey made four saves to post the shutout for Lowville (9-5-1, 8-4-1). Anna Platz, Ellory Roberts and Ellexis Cecconi also scored for the Red Raiders.

Jenna Mathews made eight saves for General Brown (0-11, 0-15).

COPENHAGEN 4, ALEXANDRIA 0

Logan Wheeler scored three goals as the host Golden Knights blanked the Purple Ghosts in the “D” Division regular-season finale for both teams.

Goalie Lindsey Fitzpatrick wasn’t required to face a shot on goal for division champion Copenhagen (12-3-1, 12-2-1). Morgan Herbert also scored a goal for the Golden Knights.

Rachael Calhoun finished with 13 saves for Alexandria (4-11).

LYME 2, SACKETS HARBOR 1

Amanda Goutremont scored on a penalty kick in the 77th minute to lift the Indians to a “D” Division victory in a regular-season finale for both teams.

Lauren Campbell made five saves to post the win for Lyme (8-5-2), which has won six consecutive games. Taylor Brown scored in the first half for the Indians.

Jordan Gonseth scored for Patriots (9-6) and Olivia Martin made six saves.
