The Golden Knights are back home opening the season with a pair of 5-4 losses at Colorado College last weekend.
Clarkson (0-2) has its home opener Saturday night at 7 p.m. against Atlantic Hockey's Holy Cross, which went 20-15-4 overall last year and was 15-8-4 in conference games. It will be the season opener for the Crusaders.
Saturday's game has special meaning beyond just being a home opener for Clarkson. It is the school's Hall of Fame weekend and Potsdam native Craig Conroy, who graduated from Clarkson in 1994, will have his No. 7 jersey retired by the school.

Despite losing twice last weekend there were a few bright spots for Clarkson.
Freshman forward Pat Megannety scored goals in both games and finished the weekend with two goals and one assist.
Junior forward Jarrett Burton scored goals in both games and has already matched his goal total for all of last season.
Senior Nik Pokulok, one of the leaders on the squad's defense, picked up assists in both games against the Tigers.
Here's a look at Clarkson getting ready for Saturday's home opener.
