LOWVILLE — The Lewis County Board of Elections is planning a last-chance voter registration event Saturday.

County residents may sign up to vote from 2 to 9 p.m. at regular polling sites in each of the county’s 17 towns.

In the two towns with multiple polling sites, Leyden and West Turin, only the joint town/village court building in Port Leyden and the Constableville fire hall will be open for the event.

For more information or to determine the closest site, call the county elections office at 376-5329.

Saturday will be the last chance to register for the Nov. 6 general election, featuring races for U.S. president, Congress and Senate, along with Lewis County judge and some town and village contests.
