Red and Black defensive tackle Alex Tibbles was named the Defensive Most Valuable Player of the Empire Football League and was selected as a First Team All-Star, highlighting 16 Watertown players honored by the league.
Quarterback Brian Williams shared the leagues Iron Man Award with Plattsburghs Kevin Gibson. Williams won that award for the third straight season. He also received All-Star honorable mention.
Joining Tibbles as First Team All-Stars from Watertown were running back Joe Brennan, offensive linemen Tim Babcock and Mike Homewood, linebackers Adrian Paris and C.J. Stevens, and defensive back Filippo Flocco.
Red and Black players named to the second team were center Jared Cook, defensive end Ian Clark, linebacker Matt Kepler and defensive backs Todd Kiechle and Shawn Davis.
Watertowns honorable mention selections, in addition to Williams, were offensive lineman Tony Ivey, defensive tackle Dwohn Lucky and linebacker Rob Hughes.
