Attorney General Eric Schneiderman and state Comptroller Thomas DiNapoli will both attend the St. Lawrence County Democratic Committee's annual dinner on Oct. 5, according to a news release from the party.

From an invite: "Attendance is by reservation only and must be made by September 30th. Reservations can be made by contacting slcdemdinner@gmail.com or 315-276-5646. Tickets are $50 per person and an additional $100 per person for attending the pre-dinner VIP cocktail reception with elected representatives."

Mr. Schneiderman and Mr. DiNapoli are two of the top elected officials in the state, so this is a nice coup by a committee in one of the more rural areas of the state. The Democratic Party is the largest in the big county by enrollment.

The event takes place at Chaney Hall, SUNY Canton.
