Republican Matt Doheny's congressional campaign is up with a new ad that claims his Nov. 6 opponent, Democratic Rep. Bill Owens, says one thing in the north country and does another thing in Washington, D.C.
The ad assails Mr. Owens' vote to approve President Obama's health-care overhaul, which raised taxes — the ad claims that the figure is by $1 trillion, while the real number has been estimated as lower than that but would be hard to accurately pin down.
