POLITICO reports today that the farm bill won't come up for a vote before the Nov. 6 election, according to House Speaker John Boehner, R-Ohio.

“We will deal with the farm bill after the election,” Mr. Boehner reportedly said.

The current farm law expires at the end of September, so expect some hand-wringing quickly to ensue.
