BLACK RIVER Following a break-in last month, the village board tasked Superintendent of Public Works Steven L. Lillie with investigating an upgrade the municipal buildings alarm system.
Mr. Lillie reported at the Sept. 4 meeting that CREG Security Systems could install motion senors in three rooms and a keypad for a cost of $792. The board requested an itemized list in order to purchase an additional keypad to disarm the alarm from a second location.
There would be no additional service charge since the village clerks office already has an alarm system through the company.
