MASSENA - The Northern New York Bassmasters Club held it’s sixth tournament of the 2012 season on the St. Lawrence River - Massena Intake on Saturday.

Forty-four anglers paired in teams for the tournament which was led by Chris Backus & Paul Streeter (Cranberry Lake) with 21.75 lbs.

Second through fourth place went to Richard Garlock and Robert Marceau (Ogdensburg) with 19.79 lbs, Brad Paradis and Robert Paradis (Ogdensburg) with 19.55 lbs andLarry Rovito & Robin Reome (Malone) with 19.10 lbs

The Lunker went to Richard Garlock with a 4.97 lb Smallmouth.

Chris Backusand Paul Streeter now lead the race for Team of the Year honors followed by Brad Paradis & Robert Paradis, Chuck Roach and Chris Roach

4th - Tim Ogrady & Steve Garrabrantand Tim O’Grady and Steve Garrabrant.

The club tournament wil be held on Lake Ontario at Chaumont Bay on September 1.
