Rep. Steny Hoyer, D-Md., will help raise funds for Rep. Bill Owens, D-Plattsburgh, at a Sept. 14 fundraiser in Washington D.C.

Mr. Hoyer is the minority whip in the House.

The invitation suggests between a $500 and $5,000 donation — and it also lists Mr. Owens' committee assignments, Agriculture, Armed Services and Small Business.

The event starts at 8:30 a.m. at The Caucus Room.
