Cody L. Chayhitz, 27, Watertown, was arrested Monday night by Watertown police on a warrant charging him with second-degree criminal contempt.

He is accused of violating stay-away terms of a City Court order of protection issued to Marissa K. McLarnon, 21, of 305 W. Main St., Apt. 1. Police said he was found on July 6 at that residence, still listed as his official address, despite a court order issued March 27, when he was sentenced for attempted third-degree assault.

The conviction stemmed from an arrest March 5, when he was accused of pulling Ms. McLarnon’s arm. He paid $400 for the fine and court fees.
