Points leaders pad lead at Evans Mills Speedway

Four point leaders at the Evans Mills Speedway won their features Saturday night. Dalton Lampson (juniors); Justin Pope (thunder stocks); Randy Mooney (trucks) and Billy Matteson (thunder car) increased their leads in the point standings.

At Can-Am Motorsports Park in LaFargeville, Brandon Hagan added to his point lead Saturday. Hagan was in a side-by-side battle with Anthony Stockman late in the feature. He then pulled away for the victory.

At Canandaigua Speedway, Billy Dunn of Watertown led the big-block modifieds across the finish line Saturday. Rob Bellinger of Dexter finished seventh.

At Oswego Speedway, Joe Gosek claimed his fifth Novelis supermodified title Saturday as he won the feature. Kreig Heroth won the small-block supermodified race and the points title.

In a World of Outlaws late model race, Tim Fuller and Tim McCreadie were non-factors Saturday for the second race in a row, at the Merritt Raceway in Lake City, Mich. Fuller, who resides in the Watertown area,finished 12th and Watertown native Tim McCreadie was 23rd.
