No one was injured Friday afternoon when a motorist allegedly ran a red light at Washington and Mullin streets and struck four other vehicles.
Watertown police said Rosaly Santiagovega, 36, of 26176 Jewett Place, Calcium, was traveling north on Washington Street about 3 p.m. when she passed a red light, striking a vehicle operated by Trishia L. Cannell, 40, of 9587 River Road, Copenhagen, who was traveling east on Mullin Street through the intersection. The Santiagovega vehicle proceeded to strike a vehicle operated by Kathy M. Mahoney, 41,of 22195 Swan Road, that had stopped at the red light on Washington Street, and then struck head-on a vehicle driven by Franklin B. Kenyon, 48, Adams Center.
The Santiagovega vehicle then came to rest against a vehicle owned by Stephen G. Gagnon, 41, of 123 Park Ave., which was parked on the west side of Washington Street.
The Santiagovega and Kenyon vehicles were towed from the scene with extensive front-end damage, while the Mahoney vehicle was towed with damage to its left side, police said. Ms. Santiagovega was charged with passing a red light.
