Demar L. Poindexter, 20, of 1727 Burns Ave., Apt. E, was charged by Watertown police at 3:36 a.m. Saturday with two counts of fourth-degree criminal mischief.

It is alleged that during a domestic incident at the residence of Stefanie M. Ruiz-Serrano, 1620 Huntington St., Apt. Q2, he broke a glass coffee pot and two small mirrors and then pulled a phone cord from the back of the residence while Ms. Ruiz-Serrano was attempting to call police.

He is due to answer the charges in City Court.
