DEKALB — A Hermon man accused of raping a person younger than 15 in 2010 was arrested Wednesday afternoon by St. Lawrence County sheriff’s deputies.

Edwin C. Bevins Jr., 25, of 730 County Route 19, was charged with three counts of felony second-degree rape and misdemeanor endangering the welfare of a child.

Mr. Bevins allegedly had sexual relations with the person in July 2010 in the town of Dekalb. No further details were released.

Mr. Bevins was arraigned in Pierrepont Town Court and held in lieu of $15,000 cash bail, $30,000 bond.
