Casey L. Beutel, 30, of 239 St. Mary St., was charged by Watertown police Thursday night with endangering the welfare of a child. Police said she allowed her three children, ages 8, 11 and 13, to remain in her residence with an aggressive pit bull that had attached her husband, Raymond S. Beutel, earlier in the day.

She was ordered to appear in city court on Aug. 16.
