CANTON — State Attorney General Eric T. Schneiderman will be the keynote speaker at the St. Lawrence County Democratic Committee annual fall dinner Oct. 5 at SUNY Canton’s Chaney Dining Hall.

Dinner Chairwoman Robin M. St. Andrews attributed the success of attracting a well-known name in the Democratic Party to the dinner to the work of County Chairman Mark J. Bellardini.

“Mark really is the one with all the contacts,” she said. “I think Eric will be a very big draw. He hasn’t been in the county before.”

The dinner will include recognition of this year’s Silas Wright Award recipient Keitha Arquiett, Brasher Falls, a longtime committee member who is being honored for her tireless dedication, Mrs. St. Andrews said.

“It doesn’t matter what you ask her to do,” she said.

Attendance is by advance registration only which will be accepted beginning Sept. 4. Anyone interested in attending who is not on the committee’s mailing list may email slcdemdinner@gmail.com.

Tickets are $50 per person and $100 per person for attending the pre-dinner cocktail reception with elected representatives.
