A Watertown man was arrested Tuesday night by Jefferson County sheriffs deputies on allegations that he choked a woman at her Ellisburg home and smashed a window on her car.
Vincent P. Everett, 28, of 827 Anne St., faces prosecution in town of Ellisburg Court on charges of criminal obstructing breath and blood circulation, fourth-degree criminal mischief and harassment.
He is accused in an incident at about 2 a.m. on Aug. 1 at the residence of Hilary Smith, 11786 S. Main St., Ellisburg, deputies said. Ms. Smith was shoved and struck, causing her to fall to the ground, pressure was applied to her throat, and the drivers side window was punched out of her car, according to the sheriffs office. Three ceramic vases were also broken, deputies said.
