PETIT LARCENY - BRASHER FALLS— A Franklin County Jail inmate was arrested by state police at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday.

Adam J. Baublitz, 23, of County Route 55, Brasher Falls, was charged with petit larceny and fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon, both misdemeanors.

While investigating a larceny, for which no additional information was available, police charged Mr. Baublitz. They also allegedly confiscated a 50 caliber muzzleloader, which is illegal for a convicted felon to possess.

Mr. Baublitz was already incarcerated on a first-degree burglary charge and was sentenced to serve an additional two months in jail for a separate conviction in late June.
