GOUVERNEUR – Sylvain M. Yelle, 44, 9846 Route 56, Massena, was arrested by St. Lawrence County Sheriff’s deputies at 7:50 p.m. Friday at the St. Lawrence County Fairgrounds.

Mr. Yelle was asked to leave an unsafe area during an exhibition. He allegedly refused to leave, and became physically assaultive towards deputies.

He was charged with resisting arrest and disorderly conduct.

He is scheduled to appear in Gouverneur Village Court.
