CANTON — A detour for the village’s reconstruction project will go into service Monday. The detour, which runs from Riverside Drive to State Street and ends at Route 310, will reduce through-traffic congestion on Route 11 as work on the project continues.

The detour will remain in operation until work stops for winter weather and will return in the spring. Traffic near the detour will be controlled by temporary traffic signals.
