The following were charged with driving while intoxicated and related offenses:
■ Darryl R. McGrath, 37, Lake Wales, Fla., was being held Monday under $1,500 bail in the Metro-Jefferson Public Safety Building on a Leandras Law charge of felony aggravated driving while intoxicated as a result of his arrest by state police at 8:10 p.m. Sunday on South James Street, Cape Vincent. He also is cited with endangering the welfare of a child, consuming an alcoholic beverage in a vehicle and unlawful possession of marijuana. Bail was set by Cape Vincent Town Justice Colleen M. Knuth.
Leandras Law involves alleged drunken driving while having a child as a passenger. No other details were available from state police.
■ Amanda M. Janack, 23, of 80 Riverside Drive, Apt. 3-1, Canton, was charged by St. Lawrence County sheriffs deputies at 4:30 a.m. Saturday. Deputies said she crashed her vehicle on Route 35 in Potsdam. After police received reports of a heavily damaged vehicle driving on Morley-Potsdam Road with a flat tire, deputies tracked the vehicle to Ms. Janacks apartment complex.
Her BAC was measured at 0.19 percent. A BAC level of 0.08 percent or more is considered proof of intoxication under state law. Aggravated DWI is charged when the BAC is 0.18 percent or more.
Deputies said they later discovered that Ms. Janack was involved in a property damage accident, also on Route 35, Potsdam, and charges in that accident are pending.
■ Edward D. Nunzio, 23, of 23347 County Route 32, town of Pamelia, was arrested by Jefferson County sheriffs deputies on charges of aggravated DWI and failure to keep right at 7:55 p.m. Sunday after his northbound vehicle allegedly entered the southbound lane of Route 11 in the town of Watertown while a sheriffs patrol was approaching with its emergency lights and siren in operation. The two vehicles nearly collided head-on, according to the sheriffs office. Mr. Nunzio tested at 0.20 percent BAC, deputies said.
■ Christopher L. Bronson, 31, Lee Center, was charged by state police with felony DWI in connection with his arrest shortly after 11 p.m. on Lyonsdale Road in the town of Lyonsdale. His felony count is based on a DWI conviction in 2006, police said. Mr. Bronson registered a BAC of 0.15 percent, police said.
■ Shaun B. Wilkins, 30, Orlando, Fla., faces charges of aggravated DWI, making an improper turn, failure to signal and having insufficient taillights, cited by state park police at 1:25 a.m. Saturday on Route 12 in Alexandria Bay. Police listed his test reading as 0.19 percent BAC.
■ Matthew C. Costantino, 24, of 606 John St., Clayton, also was charged by state park police at 3 a.m. Saturday on Route 12 in the town of Orleans with failure to keep right. He had a test result of 0.17 percent BAC, police said.
■ Dusty L. Morrow, 24, of 18750 Black Creek Road, LaFargeville, also was charged with failure to keep right and operating an unregistered vehicle as a result of his arrest by state park police at 3:45 a.m. Sunday on Route 12 in the town of Orleans. He tested at 0.15 percent BAC, police said.
