OGDENSBURG The city of Ogdensburg set an auction of 27 surplus properties for Tuesday.
The parcels range from small, vacant lots unsuitable for construction to prominent city buildings. The sale includes the old St. Josephs Nursing Home at 420 Lafayette St. and the former Desperados property at 212 Ford St., which were put on the block in November but received no bids.
The minimum bids range from $50 for a narrow piece of land on Lincoln Avenue near King Street to $400,000 for the Community Resource Centers former site at 100 Ford St.
Some of the properties are being sold with the stipulation that they not be subdivided.
The auction will take place at 10 a.m. in the City Council chambers.
For a list of properties and more information about the sale, contact the Department of Planning and Development at 393-7150.
