Watertown police on Saturday lodged numerous charges against a motorcyclist who allegedly led them on an early Thursday chase at speeds up to 110 mph.
Ryan D. Monroe, 30, of 1005 Bronson St., was charged with third-degree unlawfully fleeing a police officer, failure to comply, second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, speeding in a 30-mph zone, failure to keep right, driving without a license, operating out of class, two counts of failure to signal a turn and three counts apiece of failure to stop at a stop sign and running a red light. He was processed at the Metro-Jefferson Public Safety Building and released on $500 bail to answer the charges in City Court.
Police said they directed Mr. Monroe to stop just before 3 a.m. Thursday in the 900 block of Bronson Street, but he alleged sped away instead.
